My basketball career started at Johnson High School, and from there I went to play at Anoka Ramsey Jr. College, where I was All Region, All State and All Conference. My professional career took me to the Fankford Lightning in Germany, where I played for two years before I tore my achilleas tendon forcing my early retirement in 2007. My love for the game could not keep me away from the court, so I started S.W.A.G. Elite Training, where I trained high level athletes from 12 years old to professionals. In 2014, I became the head basketball coach at Prairie Seed Academy, where I averaged 22 wins per season and lead the team to three conference championships in four years. In addition to training and coaching athletes, I organize and run basketball camps in Minnesota, Florida, Georgia and Texas.  In 2016, I started my amateur boxing career, my love for boxing led me to train amateur and professional boxers in 2019. When the COVID-19 pandemic slowed the world in 2020, I rediscovered who I was as a trainer, coach, and person and chose to rebrand S.W.A.G. Elite Training to be all-encompassing through Coach Q's Training.
